17 I’m honored to be part of Tony Oursler’s Sound Digressions : Full Spectrum show at Gallerie Mitterand in Paris, which I was able to witness firsthand. Via a filmed video performance I perform on waterphone and improvise with Tony Conrad, Kim Gordon, Zeena Parkins, Ikue Mori, Lee Ranaldo and Steven Vitiello, and my portrait (in yellow) broadcasts a video of my performance unaltered.

Parkins plays standard harps, as well as a custom-made electric harp. In addition to her solo recordings, she has recorded or performed with Björk, John Zorn, Elliott Sharp, Ikue Mori, Butch Morris, Tin Hat Trio, Jim O'Rourke, Fred Frith, Lee Ranaldo, Nels Cline, Pauline Oliveros, and others.
Lee Mark Ranaldo (born February 3, 1956) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, guitarist, writer, visual artist and record producer, best known as a co-founder of the alternative rock band Sonic Youth. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked Ranaldo at number 33 on its "Greatest Guitarists of All Time" list. In May 2012, Spin published a staff selected top 100 guitarist list, ranking Ranaldo and his Sonic Youth bandmate Thurston Moore together at number 1.
