The first event was at the Westpoint Centre in Exeter on the 30th October 1992. Multi tapepacks from Obsession notably have more than one catalogue entry within each release, please check the entry is not already in the database in its original multipack format before submitting duplicates of single items. In 1995 Obsession relaunched as Obsessed following the departure of one of the company's founders.
Most of the material for Volume 1 was written by vocalist and guitarist Deron Miller before the addition of Ginsburg completed the band's lineup, during which time he and drummer Jess Margera were performing under the name Oil with live bassist Ryan Bruni. Miller plays bass on the album, although Bruni does feature on "The Human Drive in Hi-Fi" and "Lost in a Contraption". Shortly after opening, CJ Agnelli of Agnelli & Nelson immortalised the club with one of his first releases, titled "Lush", and the later remixes, "Lush Gold". The cover art of both releases featured the clubs logo, a large yellow/orange circle.

The album is just me - the music is where the inspiration for the Prodigy comes from. It won't sell many copies but it's important that the fans have something that's full of stuff that's in my head when I'm writing. 2. The front sleeve says 'Prodigy present The Dirtchamber Sessions Volume One'. 3. The back sleeve has photos of Liam's studio. 4. The inside sleeve has a picture of Liam lying in floor of his studio with his mixer and records. Liam made it in his studio instead of mixing live on Radio 1 (it took him 5 days). This is probably even better, as he could realize more of his ideas, thay may not have been possible in a 100% live mix. He used a sampler, 2 decks, and an A-DAT to put the tracks together. Shortly after the show, some pirate recordings of the mix started to circulate, but unfortunately they were stopped by XL Recordings.

The album came about as a result of a 1998 guest DJ appearance by Howlett on Mary Anne Hobbs's Breezeblock show on the UK radio station Radio 1, producing a similar set. In a bid to stop popular bootleg copies of the show, an official album, essentially an extended version of the Breezeblock mix, was released. The two mixes are not quite the same as permission to use certain tunes was not forthcoming for all samples. Most notable is the removal of The Beatles' "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" which was also left off The Chemical Brothers's Brothers Gonna Work It Out DJ Mix but was left on the earlier promo release Radio 1 Anti-Nazi Mi.Трэклист: Section 1 – 7:18 Run-D. "Here We Go (Live At The Funhouse)" (1985) - is labeled as "Intro Beats" in the CD booklet. Rasmus, "Punk Shock" (1998) - is mislabeled as "Tonto's Release" in the CD booklet.
Volume One is the debut album by the American band Sleep. It was the only album recorded with original guitarist Justin Marler, before he became an Orthodox monk. Volume One showcases a darker sound and stronger doom metal influence than Sleep's later work. The image featured on the cover is taken from the Salvador Dalí painting "Soft Self-Portrait with Fried Bacon". Al Cisneros - bass guitar, vocals. Matt Pike - electric guitar. Justin Marler - electric guitar. Chris Hakius - drums.
