Roger Waters's primary instrument is the electric bass guitar. He briefly played a Höfner bass but replaced it with a Rickenbacker RM-1999/4001S, until around 1970 when he switched to Fender Precision basses. He often plays bass using a pick but is also known to play fingerstyle. Not only a bassist and vocalist, Waters has experimented with the EMS Synthi A and VCS 3 synthesisers and has played electric rhythm and acoustic guitars in recordings and in concert.

Roger Roger made his professional conducting debut at the age of eighteen in a Music Hall, but it wasn't long before radio and films beckoned. During his long career he claimed to have been involved in more than 500 film productions. He started writing for French films towards at the end of the 30s. Firstly documentaries, then feature films. Several European radio stations employed him, especially Radio Luxembourg, Radio 37 and Europe 1; he was closely involved with the early programmes on the new French Television service. Usually he recorded his own music in Paris. He was also required.

Roger Taylor was born in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, on July 26th 1949, Roger became fascinated with music in the early 50s, when his family moved to Cornwall. He learned his first instrument, the ukulele, at a tender age, and enjoyed a brief taste of things to come in a pre-teen skiffle band whose collective talent survived just two public performances, both apparently excruciating! His music took on a different direction in 1960, when he became a rather reluctant member of the Truro Cathedral Choir - a prerequisite of his scholarship. His solo album Fun In Space followed in 1981, and was succeeded by 1984's rock-based Strange Frontier. Both LPs reached the Top 30. In 1987 Roger formed his own band The Cross, in which after more than 20 years he finally resumed the role of lead singer. The Cross released three distinctive albums and toured extensively in the UK and Europe.

Should be notable to MST3K fans as the source for some music in the ‘Pod People’ episode. Specifically the “Trumpy, you can do stupid things” scene.
