No One is the only studio album by Chicago nu metal band of the same name. It was released on August 14, 2001 via Immortal Records and produced by Johnny K who also worked with Chicago natives Disturbed and SOiL. Neither the band nor their debut release gained any widespread commercial attention, despite the album being classified under the once-popular nu and alternative metal genre. Two singles from No One were released in "Chemical" and "Down on Me" and received moderate radio play for a short time.
Snuff is the eleventh song on the album All Hope Is Gone. This is the slow one. Its another personal on. gain, not naming names its about someone who helped me through a lot and i thought she felt the same way that i did and she really let me down. At the same time, it was good that she did, because it was that final push to me figuring out myself. The lyrics are pretty self explanatory.
Album: Long Ball To No-One.
So if you love me, let me go. And run away before I know. My heart is just too dark to care. I can't destroy what isn't there My smile was taken long ago If I can change I hope I never know
Bury all your secrets in my skin Come away with innocence, and leave me with my sins The air around me still feels like a cage And love is just a camouflage for what resembles rage again. So if you love me, let me go And run away before I know My heart is just too dark to care I can't destroy what isn't there Deliver me into my fate If I'm alone I cannot hate I don't deserve to have you Ooh my smile was taken long ago If I can change I. hope I never know. Snuff is a relatively slow song, as compared to the majority of other songs on the All Hope Is Gone. The acoustic dark song tells the story of a man who falls in love and believes the other person feels the same towards them, just to realize they don’t feel that way. This was the last released single featuring bassist Paul Gray and drummer Joey Jordison.
Slipknot – Snuff Lyrics. from album: All Hope Is Gone (2008) My smile was taken long ago/if I can change I hope I never know, I still press your letters to my lips, And cherish.
Luckily, a friend intervened. He said, 'You're going on about urgency, and you're talking about keeping this song back,' " said Chris Martin This was cut twice: first as a single that was rushed to radio and became one of the Ramones' few modest hits, then in a slightly souped-up version for the band's album Rocket to Russia. I combined Sheena, Queen of the Jungle, with the primalness of punk rock," said Joey Ramone. It was funny, because all the girls in New York seemed to change their names to Sheena after that.
