Follow LTJ Bukem to never miss another show. He was also a pivotal figure in the proliferation of the liquid sound with his It’s A Jazz Thing album and early singles on Liquid V, so ahead of his set we thought to catch up with him and see if he’d frame some of his album material in a promotional mix. Luckily, he was into the idea and this is what happened. The music is still very much alive. it’s all a matter of opinion - LTJ Bukem.

Complete your LTJ Bukem collection. As a big fan of LTJ Bukem, I had high expectations for this mix and after several listens found it a bit disappointing. Compared to live mixes and previous DJ Mix CD sets, this mix seems to fall a bit flat despite the awesome opening track from EZ Rollers and all the big name drum’n’bass artists, remixes etc on the track listing. It loses the trademark Bukem cuts after the first track and some of the tracks get a bit monotonous

Upcoming events with LTJ Bukem.

LTJ Bukem - Music (Technicolour Rework) 15. Dave Owen - Deep Breathin 16. Paul SG - Not Forgotten. Digital1: LTJ Bukem Mixed Vocal by Deeizm MC (album only) Digital2: LTJ bukem Mixed Vocal by MC Stamina (album only).

Does anyone know what the free Bonus digital content is? I'm thinking about buying this so I can download the stuff, but for some reason the website is down :(

ENNISELLIS said it all; abridged versions of the tunes are basically worthless. Considering that most of these 12"'s were £20 white-labels when released, I figured I'd get the CD to mix. But no. Tunes cut out halfway through. Plus these tunes aren't exactly like the peak of GLR/LGR from years past. With all the GLR politics, price-gouging, and that stupid "lifetime subscription" that tanked, I give all junglists permission to steal the digital files illegally ;)

This release is a huge disappointment. The Mix CD is fine, but the unmixed disc are all edited versions! Nowhere is this stated on the packaging or in the press release material. Not only do you have to "double dip" if you want the full length versions, but you can only get lossless versions through those thieving bastards B**tp*rt who will charge you £29 for the lot! More than 3 times what I paid for a physical copy. The whole point of the digital revolution was that it would be cheaper than buying CDs due to no production costs. This sort of charge is completely unacceptable and unjustifiable.Until Good Looking end this "Exclusive arrangement" with B**tp*rt so I can get these tracks for a fair price from somewhere like the excellent Juno Download, I shall no longer be buying any of their releases, or paying to see Bukem live again. A shame - he's always brilliant live.

It loses the trademark Bukem cuts after the first track and some of the tracks get a bit monotonous. Listening to the MC versions (Deeizm and Stamina) and they don’t add anything to Bukem’s mix at all in my opinion, there’s a good reason why Conrad has been MC’ing alongside Bukem because the two complement one another. Maybe if there was an MC Conrad version, it would have lifted this average mix.
