Spiral (Kenny Barron album). Studio album by Kenny Barron.

One of the more obscure releases by Kenny Barron, this hard to find CD of solo piano is worth seeking. Recorded in a Japanese studio in 1982, Barron's program includes an inspired take of McCoy Tyner's challenging "Passion Dance," a droll version of Thelonious Monk's "Reflections," an enchanting arrangement of Randy Weston's "Little Niles," and a fairly straight-up performance of Herbie Hancock's "Maiden Voyage.
