The legendary American rock band TESLA will release their new studio album, SHOCK. The band has enjoyed international chart, radio, and tour success for nearly 35 years, with global album sales topping 15 million. The album is comprised of 12 new tracks and is produced and co-written by Phil Collen (Def Leppard), and SHOCK is TESLA's eighth studio album. The band are actively touring across North America, Europe, and elsewhere around the globe throughout 2019.

Tesla’s first offering in nearly five years is Cali rock at its finest. Twelve tracks of rock, ballads and a few curve balls that make it one fine album. Produced by Phil Collen of Def Leppard it has a similar sound on some tracks but it is most definitely a Tesla album with Jeff Keith’s trade mark gravelly vocals and some classy guitar riffs and solos. You Won’t Take Me Alive’ is great track to get proceedings underway, a nice rocky number with a catchy hook that gets stuck right in your brain and stays there. Shock is out everywhere 8th March.

Tesla have announced their eighth studio album, Shock. Due March 8 via UMC, the effort was produced and co-written by Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen. Said Tesla guitarist Frank Hannon of working with Collen, He took our song ideas and really produced them to the max, and I think people are really going to be blown away by the album. Hannon continued: I'll be honest, Tesla may not have made another album because we were stuck in these ways of thinking, You can't do this. You can't write songs on the road. Phil proved us wrong and taught us that we can do it.
