The American Metaphysical Circus ‎(LP, Album). Columbia Masterworks. I would still be very curious to hear what some label like Sundazed could do for this album if employing Kevin Gray like on their fantastic The USA reissue. Notes

Later repress from the Terre Haute plant.

This release is the same as the 70 - 72 repress from columbia but has a red sticker around the label, most likely indicating it to be a European import variant from the US.

This uses the same metalwork as the original Terre Haute press so it will sound the same. And it does sound good when the recordings allow it to. Nice stereo imaging and soundstaging at the right volume and that deep bass is present and full as it should be.High frequency passages are sibilant free and controlled. Not much can be complained about and even the vinyl is quieter than the recording hiss, at least from the Terre Haute plant in the 70s.Find yourself any copy with these matrixes in clean condition and enjoy.I would still be very curious to hear what some label like Sundazed could do for this album if employing Kevin Gray like on their fantastic The USA reissue.Equipment Used:Rega RP1 with Nagaoka MP-110 CartridgeCyrus 2 AmplifierSystem Fidelity SF-3050 Tower SpeakersCustom made HQ Speaker Cables
