The Piano Trio No. 4 in E minor, Op. 90, B. 166, (also called Dumky trio from the subtitle Dumky) is a composition by Antonín Dvořák for piano, violin and cello. It is among the composer's best-known works. At the same time it is a prominent example for a piece of chamber music deviating strongly from the customary form of classical chamber music – both in terms of the number of movements and of their formal construction.

In 1969, The Beaux Arts Trio made a truly stellar recording of these beautiful trios by Dvorak that has stood alone, ever since. There is a remarkable balance of timbre among the instruments, without that excessive "edge", as in the Guarneri trio recording of these Dvorak works. The tempo is equally integrated and their phrasing, all go to make a remarkable music experience.

The legendary Beaux Arts Trio deliver a lively and sparkling performance of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdys' first piano trio, a work which a later generation of composers identified as the "archetype" for the romantic piano trio. The three musicians form an inseparable unity - see for example the very first movement with its subtle dynamic variations. The energy they inject into the music brings the work to life in a way few other ensembles have ever equalled.
