The Dub Vaders meet the year 2000 in the middle of the early Drum & Bass scene at Santiago de Chile, Armando Navarro was a DJ and Rodrigo Rivera was one of the producers of the Valparaiso based band Manziping one of the first bands to use this kind of breaks in the country. Since then, both of them have experimented with a variety of styles, out of their original comfort zones, Armando as a DJ behind the decks as resident or guest at many clubs of the city, and Rodrigo as a Producer publishing for labels like Yuki Yaki, Modismo, and Pueblo Nuevo.

The name of the group, for this album, is "Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass". Alpert's first top ten hit, and fifth gold record, the album continued the progression of the Tijuana Brass from its mostly-Mexican sound to a more easy-listening style, with a collection of cover versions of popular songs.
