Profile: The only female hip-hop group associated with Wu-Tang Clan, the group recorded two albums, one for A&M/PolyGram in 1998 and one for e/Universal in 2000, that were unreleased because of the then-pending merger of MCA and PolyGram that formed the Universal Music Group and the consolidation that resulted from the merger after it was completed. A third album was released on Rocks the World Records a few years later that was not promoted very well.

Deadly Venoms was an underground all-female hip hop supergroup that first formed in 1993. It consisted of underground veteran emcees N-Tyce, Champ MC, J-Boo, Finesse and Isis. After joining forces with hip hop giants Wu-Tang Clan, Deadly Venoms were supposed to release their debut album in September of 1998, "Antidote", although it was recalled immediately after its release, thus leaving very few copies in existence today. It wasn't until 2002 that Deadly Venoms managed to actually release an album, "Still Standing", which although it technically was their third album release, it was their first album to be released with a recall. Presumably due to the numerous tensions that hounded the group since their supposed 1998 breakthrough, Deadly Venoms ended up disbanding by 2004.
