Station 17 + ‎– Hitparade. Label: Mute ‎– CD STUMM 217. Format: CD, Album. Station 17" is a band project of mentally handicapped persons and their assistants. Their musical effort is fantastic. Hitparade compiles remixes of tracks from four albums by Station 17, a German collective around since the late '80s but with no discernible exposure outside their native country. The record earned distribution by Mute primarily because of its cast of remixers, an assortment of downtempo German producers - including Pole, To Rococo Rot, Kreidler, the Modernist, Thomas Fehlmann, even . Einheit from Einstürzende Neubauten - whose reputations have proceeded them all over the world. Pasted onto the end of Hitparade are two more brilliant remixes by To Rococo Rot and . Einheit that find the two exploring ground far different than fans would expect. To tie it together is little more than a band few have heard of, but Hitparade is a great collection of electronic pop. ~ John Bush.

Station 17 is a collective of musicians gathered from a Hamburg welfare community of mentally disabled persons. Significant for connecting people with and without disabilities in a musical context, the group has earned much respect throughout the special needs community, as well as the underground music scene. They have worked with numerous high-profile musicians, ranging from members of Krautrock bands like Can and Neu! to electronic producers such as Thomas Fehlmann and Pole. Fehlmann also proved indispensable in the hiring process for their 2001 remix album, Hitparade, which featured the top rank of German electronic producers (Pole, To Rococo Rot, the Modernist, Steve Bug). In 2006, Boysen founded a label called 17rec. and Station 17 returned with Mikroprofessor, their most purely electronic release to date.

DOWNLOAD XXXTentacion’s highly anticipated debut album 17. Soundcloud sensation & South Florida rapper XXXTentacion exploded onto the music scene this past year thanks in part to his controversial hit record Look At Me, which first came out & picked up buzz while the rapper was still incarcerated on charges of false imprisonment, witness tampering, and aggravated battery of a pregnant victim. Having to cut the tour short due to its wild antics & eventually getting named to this year’s XXL Freshman class, X has quickly become one of the most polarizing & controversial artist in the game without even dropping a project yet. Back in July, X hinted that he was dropping his first studio album called 17 on August 25, which he later confirmed on social media was indeed true & happening. And now, after weeks of anticipation from the fans, 17, is finally here.

Station 17 is a Hamburg-based experimental rock group which was founded in 1989. The collective started as both a creative and social project and was the first to connect musicians with and without disabilities in the alternative music scene in Germany. On their first album, released in 1989, the group collaborated with a number of artists such as Michael Rother, Holger Czukay and . Einheit among others and they developed a unique experimental sound.
