There are 26 albums - one for each team in existence during the 1970 NFL season. Other than solo for Merlin Olsen, none of the participating players are named on this album.

The 1970 Philadelphia Eagles season was their 38th in the league. They failed to improve on their previous output of 4–9–1, winning only three games. The team failed to qualify for the playoffs for the tenth consecutive season. The Eagles did have victories over the playoff-bound Dolphins and the cross-state rival Steelers, as well as a 23–20 victory on Monday Night Football over the Giants, ending New York's six-game winning streak and helping deny Big Blue a playoff berth.

Here is "The Packers Sing: Holiday Halftime," a vintage 33 1/3 LP, recorded in 1970 with vocals by actual Green Bay Packer, including Travis Williams. The arrangements are very simple, but professionally produced. It was issued on the Manlius Records label, and was a project of the NFL Players Association. You get these traditional Christmas carols: -Deck the Halls.

From the liner notes At first the singers were reluctant to sing out, but once they listened to a playback and realized they didn’t sound like a chorus of Quasimodos, the album began to take shape. The guys don’t sound half bad, and the tunes have all been given a through 60’s makeover and are suitable for your backyard tiki-bar or swingin’ basement rec room. So pour yourself another egg nog and Deck the Halls with the Kansas City Chiefs. Deck the Halls – The Kansas City Chiefs (download).
