Camel is the first studio album by English progressive rock band Camel, released on MCA Records in February 1973. By August 1972, Camel were signed to MCA Records. They quickly entered the studio to record their first self-titled album, Camel. A collection of individual songs, chiefly from Andrew Latimer and Peter Bardens, the album was greeted with muted success and MCA did not take an option for a second album.

Captured is a music singles/eps/fan club/promo recording by CAMEL (Symphonic Prog/Progressive Rock) released in 1986 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette.

This song is by Camel and appears on the album Nude (1981). In the days that followed, Nude was no longer at one with his environment. He was now burdened with the need to explain what could not be explained to those who would never understand. With the air heavy and his instincts dulled by the preoccupation of his thoughts, he failed to heed the warning silence of a normally busy afternoon. With a gasp and a grunt he was wrestled to the ground. A sting in his skin and he was released.

Breathless is the sixth studio album by the English progressive rock band Camel, released in 1978. It is the last album to feature the group's original keyboardist, Peter Bardens, who left the group before the tour for the album. He was replaced with two keyboardists for the tour, both ex-Caravan members: Dave Sinclair (bassist Richard Sinclair's cousin) and Jan Schelhaas.

By Prog Sphere on May 22, 2017. Pin It. Formed by Andrew Latimer, Doug Ferguson, Andy Ward and Peter Bardens in 1971, Camel was an essential part of the ‘70s progressive movement, although not one of its more famous components. Following the ambitious song cycle Nude, Camel attempted their version of an Alan Parsons Project album with The Single Factor. Considering that Parsons was having hits that year with songs like Eye in the Sky, it’s not surprising that Camel tried to capture the same audience, yet their talent didn’t lay with pop music-it lay with atmospheric instrumentals and creating detailed soundscapes.
