Katrina Jane Garside (born 8 July 1968) is an English singer, songwriter, visual artist, and poet. She rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of the indie noise rock band Daisy Chainsaw, which she formed in 1989 in London with guitarist Crispin Gray. After quitting Daisy Chainsaw in 1993, Garside went into seclusion for several years before reuniting with Gray in 1999 to form Queenadreena, with whom she released four studio albums between 2000 and 2008.

After years of doing his best to ignore critics who saw him as a starry-eyed fool for love, McCartney struck back with this disco smash. Like many of the great songs on Band on the Run, Bluebird is a fantasy of escape: Paul and Linda as a pair of lovebirds, flying free in the breeze. The song features a bittersweet melody only McCartney could have written, carried along by guitar that lilts like Brazilian bossa nova and soft-touch percussion from Nigerian instrumentalist Remi Kabaka.

This ranked list includes songs like "Under the Sea (The Little Mermaid)" by Disney Orchestra, and "Children of the Sea" by Black Sabbath.

Really interesting album. I like the modern treatment of classic sea shanties. A distinguished cast of performers give us simple, earthy renditions of songs of the sea, sung as they might have been back in the day of sail power. While Tom Waits' rendition of "Shenandoah" alone is worth the price of the album, most all of the other songs paint a tableau of life at sea that are easy to listen to while working around the house, but engaging if one wishes to listen closer. Son of Rogues Gallery is one of those eclectic gems that you'll occasionally pick up, smile as you look at the jacket, and enjoy listening to often.

Son of Rogues Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs & Chanteys is a compilation album of sea shanties and the follow-up to Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs, and Chanteys. The concept is the same as it was on the first album: artists representing a variety of genres perform cover versions of sea shanties. All songs traditional, except where noted. There are two songs that have been released previously to this compilation.

Sea Song, hand written lyrics. Sea Song is not an easy song to cover but attempts have been made a number of times, including Tears for Fears who gave it a good interpretation, although Roland Orzabal’s vocals are a tad too sweet for this kind of a song. Robert Wyatt concurs, as he stated in various interviews.
